Vaishno Devi in Winter

During the months of December and January, Vaishno Devi receives snowfall. The period can be a particularly enjoyable one for visiting the Shrine. During the winters, the sacred Cave Vaishno Devi temperature  is open to provide a wonderful experience of Darshans through this cave. Winters in this part of the world are defined by sub-zero temperatures and snowfall. The journey is tough due to the extreme heat, yet devotees continue to make the pilgrimage to the Holy Cave. This is not a smart choice for a visit this month unless you're physically healthy and ready to go.

 

Vaishno Devi in Summer

Beginning from March, the summer months are ideally the best time to visit Vaishno Devi. The days are although a little hot in May and June, it cools down by the evening, making the experience pleasant for the traveler. Wearing light woolen clothes is suitable due to the low temperatures at higher altitudes. This season is mostly ideal for those who don't want to be trapped in the rush of the crowd.

 

Vaishno Devi in Monsoon

The monsoon season at Jammu Kashmir is from August to September. you get to see breathtaking waterfalls surrounded by fully green forest. Jammu Kashmir receives medium to heavy rainfall. Therefore, it is not advisable to take a yatra to the temple due to the risk of landslides. Monsoons are ideal for budget travelers, who always seek discounts and want to travel more cheaply. As monsoon is an offseason, the prices for flights and hotels are low at this time. This is the best time to visit Vaishno Devi if you have a low budget or you love natural beauty. Be prepared for rainy weather if you go in Monsoon.

 

Vaishno Devi in Autumn

This is the peak season of the traveler, due to the festive seasons. Nowhere will you see such a crowd of energetic devotees roaring 'Jai Mata Di' as in October, during the time Vaishno Devi temperature   of the Navaratri. Although during and after Diwali, the crowd starts decreasing, which makes it another ideal time for a visit. Those traveling by the new road, cut beside Ardh Kumari, are bound to be catch up by the beauty of the scenery from the trek on the Trikuta Hills.
